DESCRIPTION:A 5-week long discussion that will present some of the history & practices of 12-step recovery programs\, like Alcoholics Anonymous. Starting from the idea that the 12-step process can be valuable to everyone\, we aim to introduce people who have never attended a 12-step meeting to some of the program’s spiritual insights. We will also discuss how to be a supportive ally to people in 12-step recovery programs. This class is not intended to be a 12-step recovery group. Angela Todd will be presenting this series which meets July 13\, 20\, 27\, and August 3\, and 10.
