Mesas and Mines – CANCELED

CANCELED – BLM has CLOSED the road to the site. Join us for a historic “ghost” experience visiting several sites where folks lived, worked, and dreamed. We’ll meet at the church at 8 AM and head out of town on highway 62, then turn onto highway 145 to highway 141. We’ll then take an easy four-wheel drive or high-clearance vehicle journey to Calamity Mesa (7,100 ft. elevation) to visit the Calamity Mine National Historic Site. Be sure to bring your lunch and drinks for the trip.
