Passover Seder Meal and Communion Service

Maundy Thursday, April 17th, at 5:30 PM

In the upper room, on his last night with his disciples, Jesus broke the bread, saying, “This is my body broken for you,” and he poured out the cup, saying, “This is the cup of the new covenant sealed in my blood.”

The supper Jesus instituted as a foundational sign of communion in his Body and his Spirit, began after all in the room had celebrated the Jewish Passover and shared the Seder meal. The bread that he breaks is matzah bread, and the cup that he shares is the Seder cup.

This Maundy Thursday, April 17th, beginning at 5:30 PM, we will follow in his footsteps as we share the elements of the Passover Seder, enjoy a no-cost dinner of beef brisket and sides, and close the evening with the Lord’s Supper.

This is an interactive experience that will provide a deeper sense of Jesus’ time with the disciples in the upper room. There is no cost to participate, but to prepare for the meal, please sign up on the sheet that will be posted on the credenza.

Easter Sunday, April 20th

Sunrise Service at 7 AM (Inspiration Point),  Potluck Breakfast at 8 AM and Worship at 10 AM (Sanctuary)

What more glorious way to celebrate Easter than by watching the sun rise over the beautiful San Juan mountains? Early Easter Sunday morning, April 20th, we will be gathering at 7 AM at Inspiration Point on Log Hill for our annual sunrise service.

A hearty potluck Easter breakfast will be served at the church following our time on Log Hill and before our 10 AM worship service at the church, which will include special music with community guests. Come celebrate with us the life that is ours in our Risen Lord!
