Sunday Sundae Concert “FRIENDS OF ED: Ed Contreras, the Kristoffersen Family, Charlie Lacy and Guests!”

A beautiful collection of songs from our heroes: Simon and Garfunkel, Bill Withers, Peter Gabriel, and more!

A Denver native, Ed has been playing World drums, drum kit, and percussion for over 50 years in various bands and ensembles. His music covers everything from folk, jazz, rock, blues, country, bluegrass, African, Flamenco, Brazilian, Eastern European and Middle Eastern styles. He enjoys teaching and found Swallow Hill to be the perfect place to educate folks about the power and spirituality of music. He teaches World hand drums, such as congas, djembe, cajon, drum kit, and various percussion instruments from many ethnic musics.

Ed has known and played with Katy since she was eight years old, so it’s about time that this concert happens! Charlie Lacy, guitarist and Ed go way back…friends and musicians for life.
